Marie and a Little Bling

I was recently RAK'd some beautiful wallpaper samples from a friend in the Boston, MA area. Here note stated that these papers reminded her of Marie Antoinette and since I'm a big fan of Marie, she sent them to me. Lucky me! This is just one card I've made with the paper samples. Thank you Hester, you are a doll!

Thanks for looking!!

Spring!

I know it's a bit early, but today it was 82 degrees in my state of Virginia. Just a reminder that warmer weather is on its way. I know that when July rolls around, we are going to be saying, I can't wait for winter! So, as little tribute to Spring and all that it brings I've created a little card using Flower Soft. Oh my, I love this stuff!

Mad Hatter's Tea Party

I have been working on something a little different for me...well, a little different. I joined a swap where Alice in Wonderland is the theme. I'm sorry to admit that as a child I never read the story but have enjoyed doing research on the subject the past few days. I really liked the old vintage images of Marie, The Madd Hatter and the White Rabbit but for the life of my I couldn't come up with an ATC that I liked. So, I got the idea to make invitations to a tea party and cover all the bases. The invitation itself is an ATC complete with a matching envelope. I love the way they turned out and hope you do to!

Perfume Bottle Charms

My first swap with the Marie Antoinette Mail Art Group was a charm swap. I love beads and immediately joined the swap. We were to create 20 charms to resemble perfume bottles. How clever is that! It was fun and I can't wait for my returns because I see a charm braclet in my future!
