Viva la Verve! May Sketch Challange Week 1





Here's my entry for Week 1 over at Viva la Verve! sketch challenge.  You can find all the infor over at Splitcoast Stampers if you are interested in giving it a try.  My card is an almost exact copy of the card Andrea Ewen created for the sketch. She has a short video from Becca Feeken that shows how to make a pleated background to enhance any card. I liked the look of the pleats behind the cutout shape, I made a second card.  This one is much smaller and worked up fairly quickly.  I just love the way the pleats look behind the large center cut out and thanks to Becca for creating the video instructions.
